Okay guys I had a buddy find some bayonets at a garage sale and he asked me to look at them. Well I am quite frankly ignorant about them and I won't be a faggot and claim I am. So I came to the experts, tell me /k/ what have we found?

The larger of the two has a few markings. One side of the blade has a number. The other has what looks an X formed by two somethings crossed. Over it is a tiny crown and over the top it has a word I can't make out. If I hazard a guess it looks like ARTILLARIA. Under it is another set of numbers. The smaller bayonet only has one string of numbers along its spine and that's all.

Muzzle right is too far up, and pommel by the grips is angled instead of straight. If you look carefully, you can see the remains of checkering which is common on Spanish bayonets

Exactly, that's it. How much are these worth and what rifles were they serviced on?

Cacarnos.

So, not a lot.

Spanish Mauser M1893 long rifle and M1916 short rifle.

Post-WW2 Yugo bayonet for Mauser rifles. The manufacturer (Preducetze 44 = Production Plant #44) is marked on side of the blade. I have one of these, which came with Yugo 98k.

The Carcano bayo is actually probably the most valuable of these three. That is because it is somewhat of a rarity due to being folding bayonet design - not too many of those around. However if the folding mechanism till works (it is not terribly sensitive so usually it does) is a major factor when it comes to price.

Push the front button on side of the grip and pull the blade towards its tip to unlock it. Once unlocked you should be able to fold the blade.

Yep it folds fine and when locked open it has no blade wriggle.

Leave dull, worth more. Dull by default

So autistic question but where can i find a picatinny - mounted bayonet?
