So I picked up a keltec p3at to pocket carry when I ride my bicycle. This is the first .380 I've ever carried and it seems like it would be powerful enough to stop some pavement ape from robbing me of my life and/or property. I'm worried about it not penetrating enough so I carry FMJs like pic related. What does /k/ think?
theres actually a few 380 hd ammos aroundn that you could at least try to see if you can get like speer or fed if you want.
the flatpoints are better than fmj at least.

.380 is a fine close combat protection round. I personally wouldn't carry it come winter time when bulky winter coats are worn.
