Im looking to buy ammo for my mauser, but i don't want to blow out the barrel by having too hot of a load. No bully pls, this mauser will be my first gun, so i don't a whole lot.

There are no 7.92 Mauser loads that are hot, or even all that powerful. S&B is probably as powerful as anybody makes 8mm these days, even though it could be even more powerful if it weren't for retards shooting full powah 8mm out of unconverted gewehr 88s.

You're fine.

The traditional military load is 196 grains. I think 210 is some comercial big game hunting load.

Are you reloading yourself or buying commercial ammunition?
>>

Im buying commercial, but I'll eventually load it myself some years down the road.

any commercial ammo will work.
when you start reloading get a reloading manual or 2 and don't go hotter than what is specified in said manuals just to be safe.
i will say though that the mauser action is a very strong one and can take very high pressures, so so long as you don't majorly screw up with reloading you'll be fine.

somebody has never shot Turk or German surplus

from what i hear, commercial 8mm mauser is loaded very light to prevent the companies from being sued if someone puts it in a really early model

I was talking about modern ammo that's actually available.

Sellior & Bellot are the only company I know of that makes a really good 8mm load these days: that 196grn spce is such a legit round.

About to trigger my autist-tier knowledge of 8mm rounds.

This. Don't worry, OP. Make sure the gun is properly headspaced (which is a matter of buying a $10 tool) and you're good to go.
