So I just got my gun license, and I'm looking at a couple of options here. I have these rifles in my price range, from cheapest to the most expensive, most of them being semi converted milsurp:
VZ 58
GALIL SAR/ARM
FN FAL
and a somewhat more expensive option, about 70% more expensive than the Vz and manufactured as semi
STGW 57
Which one of these rifles should I pick and why? What are their pros and cons? Which has the cheapest ammo in the central europe area?

Galil FAL VZ are better for the US.
If you are in Switzerland then 200 bucks a piece galore as well as cheap ammo, but ONLY Switzerland.
Rest of the world I dont know.

Czech Republic is where I am at. So all ammo is expensive for me, it kinda boils down to the rifles. Of course, 7,5 swiss is probably the hardest to come by.

Well if its like that it is never wrong to go with a domestic gun (europe&america), so go with the Samopal.

Galil and FAL are both great guns. Vz. 58s are meme guns, even for a Czech, but there's not much that's inherently wrong with them.
Ultimately, it comes down to what you think is coolest. If I were you, I'd buy a Galil SAR, because I like them.

I like the galils because they're heavy, on the other hand, I saw them chew up cases pretty bad. Do all do that?

Why AK pattern?
I mean I do have respect for it, but it only makes sense to me in 5,45x39 or better, galil in 223 rem. Otherwise Vz 58 is the superior 7,62x39 rifle from every source I have heard from

More spare parts famalam. If I were in America, I get an AR cuz of common parts, same logic with Eastern Europe. I'm certain there are AK variants and copies in 5.45
