Can we talk about some non-permissive carry options? I'm looking for items I can carry with me onto campus.

Get a decent hold out knife
I used to have a kubaton but I lost it at a friends house after a night of heavy drinking
Is it illegal, or will you just get expelled? Serious question.
I've carried an XD-S for 2 full years now on campus because it's only an expulsion if I'm caught. If I was carrying something like an LCP my chance of being caught would go down to effectively nil. (I don't live on campus, making this a lot easier because no concerns about dumbass roommates or RAs.)

Er, should have clarified: are you old enough to get a carry permit and do your state laws make campus carry a felony?
>>30050022
Anon what state?
Depending on the state unlicensed cc may be illegal on campus

MN in my case. I've reviewed the laws and university regulations VERY carefully, because I refuse to risk a felony for carrying (and risk losing my CCW permit/guns).

So then what are your restrictions if any?
Kubatons are pretty nice and I've personally used one to beat the crap out of a friend of mine in a drunken fight
And from what I hear those coldsteel pocket shark's are a pretty good stand in for a kubaton

The only one relevant to me is when I go to do military drills, can't carry on base.

Not even a tactical pen or pocket shark?
What about flashlight restrictions?

I carry a fixed blade knife and top of the line pepper spray then (Fox Labs), it's just a gun ban. Knives are shit weapons for self defense though, for me it's literally last resort to where I'd have to consider not just using fists instead over it.

SSG here:
Even on base your risk of being caught is low. Even if you get caught it would be up to your unit to decide punishment. Also there is a new program where CO's are designating Soldiers to be armed during drills. Get on that detail.
secondly, it sounds like your CCW choices are sound. For non-carry places go with a pocket knife that has an emmerson wave opener.
"tactical" pens are fucking meme's. Not worth the money and all seem to come with blue ink.
Thanks for all the over-night replies to my thread.

A knife would be illegal on campus/get me expelled.

Hello neighbor!

Pocket Shark seems somewhat promising and there are no flashlight restrictions. Feel free educate me on their uses, etc.
