Pistol grip only shotguns are retarded, have always been retarded, and will always be retarded. They have little defensive use, are not fun range toys after 100-200 rounds, and are useless for all but the most desperate sporting use.

No, pistol grips are still a problem, just more of a problem without a stock.
Shotguns are low rate of fire, high impulse. A grip that adds control at high rate of fire at the expense of transmitting recoil into the shooter's hand is silly. A traditional stock will transmit much more recoil energy into the shooter's shoulder than hand.

POU?
I like 20" pistol grip only shotguns as a secondary when I'm hog hunting. I don't want to carry a full size shotgun when I'm walking around. I also don't want to use a pistol or my rifle when I'm going through tall grass and a hog could jump me.
