It's in the guide rod of a p226 ...

http://www.amazon.com/LaserMax-Guide-Laser-Sauer-P226/dp/B005KIX31K

(the debate is not about how to put a lazer on a p226 I know there are other options I want to know about this one)

Alright since you type like a dyslexic nigger, I'll break it down for your simple mind. Still with me, nigger? The light has a laser and you can get a rail adapter for a P226. As a matter of fact, I have one on order for my German P226 to put a Surefire on it. The X400 has a laser.

You little stupid nigger.

Lasermax lost the laser wars to Crimson Trace.

They actually make a good product.

11 years ago, my Father in law bought them for:
my wife's Glock 26
brother-in-laws Sig 229
he installed on into his Glock 23.

They still all work (each needed a battery change a few years back), the guns have all been reliable, and the point of impact is certainly good.

Frankly, I don't believe in lasers, but if I did, I would have no problem using Lasermax
>>
>>30042781

Pretty much this. Lasermax isn't bad at all, and unlike Crimson Trace it doesn't add any bulk. But lasers are stupid anyway.

Don't shit yourself

Op was simply asking a question you could've answered then you could tried to suggest your solution

You must work in a gun store

Doubt it, at least for Surefire. To my knowledge, these were only made for full sizes like the 1911, M9 and P226. Shame since I've been looking for a German P228 to maybe replace my P226.

>>30045191
I bought a Surefire model MR14"B" which is the Sig P226 adapter for guns with a 11.5mm wide trigger guard or +300,000 serial number whereas the MR14"A" is for 10mm wide trigger guard and -300,000 serial number.

You can find them floating around online for $70-$90 and I had to order mine from Germany because it was sold out everywhere.

As for that FAB Defense adapter, it may work since they do supply the Israeli military with weapon parts. It's made from milspec aluminum and its anodized but I would suggest getting the Surefire one since it has an anti scratch pad on the top of the adapter. Plus, it can be had for much cheaper.

Again, I'm still waiting on my rail+light so I can't give you my full impressions on the adapter. Nigger.

Used a guide rod laser for my gen 4 Glock and was thoroughly unimpressed.

They're nice in the fact that they don't restrict your holster options but the real issue is that the lens/diode gets covered in powder residue and after even a few magazines the laser becomes almost unusably dim.

The caveat to this is that if you practice with the standard guiderod and then put this in just while you carry that dimness will not be a problem, but at that point you're not training with the gear you intend to fight with and therefore the training value is diminished.

On the upside, I did not find the guiderod laser to negatively effect reliability and held zero as well as I could shoot during rapid fire (advertised as increasing extreme spread less than 2 inches at 25 yards, if I am recalling correctly)

On the downside, I did not find that the laser increased my speed or precision at all either (In positions where I could adopt a traditional sight picture.)

You got 2" spread rapid fire at 25 yards?
Miculek could learn a lot from you.

I'm just surprised from this thread that there's one or two anons that are interested in mounting lights on their rail less Sig. When my shit gets here, I might make a thread on it.
>>
>>30045915
It'd be cool if they had a cap for it when you were at the range, so you keep the same weight (guessing they don't weigh the same).

Or you could just clean your firearm and accessories after every use like a normal person.
>>
I've put lasers on my guns before.
I didn't like them ultimately. It's better to train with a traditional sight picture. I don't think you can really lazer well with a traditional sight picture at the same time.
>>
Just use some clear scotch tape on it

I run an rmr on my glock along with an osprey 9, which otherwise results in a lens fouled nearly to opacity in less than two hundred rounds (especially when running the can wet.)

The scotch tape trick has relieved my lens of a lot of wear and tear
