Digging through my photos, noticed the Irish didn't bother with them.
The advent of fragmentation vests nullified the need to run the yokes under the epaulets. Seems the Brits were off and on, so to speak, even by the Falklands war though.

It was for the Losscam at first but you sort of have a point there. I really only did it cause it looked like my buddy telny was getting bullied in the no bully camo thread. No more trip though.

>my buddy telny getting bullied

What is this, some sort of tumblr bullshit? No one has ever or was even planning to steal your "losscam" and it hasn't even been posted for atleast a month and a half now.

He wasn't bullying him, I have no idea what you're on about. We joke around in here, I don't understand why you feel the need to get all defensive for someone who's not even talking to you or doing anything wrong, let alone try to rag on him using the favorite insult of our serial shitposter.

Either way you're wrong, because you just took the cake with these two posts as "The worst poster in these threads." Gotta protect your shitty fictional camo I guess.

Grow up and grow a pair man. Telnys' not a woman anymore, so there's no reason for you to go all white-knight. Go enjoy stroking your own cock wearing your "losscam" fedora.

Same way with my Rhodie trousers, they're like a 27" waist.

I talked to a few recruiters, a general physical fitness test and the basic background questions said I was OK.

Worst case i'd just wear it as an open shirt
>>
>>30046616
Not really, you should've ordered from Varusteleka. The big issue with SG and Hessen is that there sizes tend to be eyeballed than acatualy measured.
>>
>>30046707
The Finn only has manlet sizes left. And if those lazy fucks in the ordering department would take two seconds to read the tag, sg52 is not the same as m52.

>>
>>30046855
You lucked out. I put mine in on February 17th and it said they were in stock. Waited a week for email conformation. Went and checked site when it didn't come. Said backordered, magically got an email about 20 minutes later saying "Oh yeah we'll have em in on 3/13! Just click here to keep the order!". And then it was 4/1. And then 4/30. And then 4/21, and then oh shit, it got here ON 4/11 WHICH IS EVEN EARLIER THAN WE EXPECTED SO WE CAN EXPEDITE YOUR ORDER VALUED CUSTOMER, here you go! And then they took four days after sending me -that- email to actually ship the shit.

Honestly it's the first time I've had an issue with SG. They've been great about being on time with everything else and not trying to do some smoke and mirrors bullshit.
>>
>>30046906
fuuck, they do have really great surp for cheap but i'm worried that will happen again, sucks you had to wait that long.
>>
>>30046892
For jackets you take the DDR number and subtract 10 to get the chest diameter in cm. The letters are the first letter of sizing words just like any other clothes. K is Klein (small), M is Mittel (medium), G is GroƟ (Large), then SG SehrGroƟ and UG UberGroƟ (XL and XXL). It's hard to find SG and UG and fuck near impossible to find anything that isn't midget sized anymore it seems.

Any experts on DPM here?
I want to collect CS95 stuff, but i'm confused about all the different jackets/smocks.
I think I have the standard CS95 smock; it has the wire hood and says "smock, combat, windproof" on the tag.
I know there's the Artic version (and matching pants), and there's a flece that i believe is supposed to be worn under the standard parka, but i've also seen a ripstop parka without a hood (pic related), a rain coat/pants, and an SAS parka.
I'm just confused about who wears what, and what goes with what, and what situations things are worn for.
>>
>>30047945
What are they wearing in this picture? It looks kind of like the previous pic, but maybe it's the standard parka with the hood rolled back, or maybe it's some other parka/jacket.
>>
>>30047961
Looks like goretex gear to me.
>>
>>30047945

The one in this picture is a ripstop Soldier 95 smock, the basic combat jacket in cooler weathers.

>>30047961

The one here is a Soldier 95 Windproof Smock, for even colder, windier conditions.
>>
>>30048121
Are both of those differen from the one I described? The one I have doesn't have the pull tightener things dangling from it like what you posted.
>>
>>30048146

The one you said you have here >>30047945 is the S95 windproof smock

Basically the only difference in the S95 smock and S95 windproof smock is the hood.

Both have drawstrings, although they are often removed by the soldiers.

Are there different versions of the widproof smock? The one I have has velcro pannels on the sleeves, but i've seen some that have patches sewn onto the sleeves with no velcro (pic related). I've also seen one with small pockets on the sleeves, but that looks a lot like the arctic version.

Also would the correct SAS smock be the
Arktis B210, or are there also different SAS smocks?

The windproof smock has been around awhile, it has gone through many iterations. The velcro panels are one minor change to the current style.
I can't recall when they worked around with the field dressing pocket, probably the older models.

The windproof smock is often called the SAS smock because before there was really any commercial kit the SAS preferred wearing the windproof smock, although it is general issue.

Nowadays the SAS has large discretion as to what they can wear, they can typically wear whatever they want.

Got a pair, will use.

I think tropic would work in this particular environment but not transition too well into other parts nearby. For reference I'm in Ohio and I could benefit from something more universal that nails the temperate environment across the board.

Seems like a lot of variation for the seasons, right now I'm just looking at summer. I actually think a South African Parka could look good since it's dark and may blend well with the trees when winter hits.

Did someone here sell Karst?
>>
>>30059101
Yup, that would be Telynashkabro. He's based in Britain so he should be turning up sometime soon.
>>
>>30059224
Do you know what he charges for it?

Started with the surphunt again after being busy for a long time.

Found this Czech winter coat with liner and hood for 25 Euro. Too bad it was a 194cm size.

Any good place to get a 185cm?

Are you the guy from Northern Tulpenland? Where do you find those cluttered surpshops? Mad jelly.

Yes I am. Just found two amoebatarn zeltbahns as we speak. Are they worth a lot? Gonna buy me anyway.
>>

Well there's a lot of color variations from season to season.
But in summer, you'll want to look for green-dominant patterns, and for winter there's the dead leaves and snow

Why do Germans have such weird fetishes?
>>
>>30056770
Hats and helmets would make you look a lot better, as long as you replace the jeans of course

They aren't speaking German
