alright this is an interesting thread, my post seems most relevant here. there is a difference between clip and magazine, but what is the difference between different tipped magazines? i have several cases of ammo i inherited from my grandfather though all i own is a .357. i don't even know if these are all magazines for the pistol but each fit and say 38 jacket. my main concern is that each case holds magazines with a different tip. some rounded, some hollowed (hollow point magazine?), some cave in. would certain 38 magazines not be used with a .357?
