Hey /k/,
A few weeks ago I bought a couple of 1917 Enflieds on the cheap but they're both sporterized. Kinda new to the hasguns club, any tips on where/how to find original wood furniture? Thanks in advance.
pls

They are both Fucked beyond saving, Sad. You could take the one on the left to a gun smith so he can take that front sight off and you can sell it to someone who needs one. Enjoy them for what they are now. Hope you didnt pay much for both

Paid a little less than $300 for the pair.
Maybe I'll just get an SKS.

>Ill get an SKS
Dont lmao. Get 300 bucks worth of ammo for a gun you already have.

Ebay, gunbroker, Brownells, Numrich all have parts. If you wanna restore them, it's gonna cost you a good bit, but it's doable.
Before the naysayers get here, there's nothing wrong with sporterized guns. I'm not saying you SHOULD sporterize guns, but for the ones that have already been modified, you may as well just enjoy them.

If you live near a large enough city you might have a milsurp shop that has original/replica furniture.

Just leave them alone. They both look decent.

Good luck, stocks are expensive as fuck.
What the other guy said. Theyve been chopped up and are unsalvagable. Sorry m8
