I want to convert my p250 to 9mm from .40short&weak. I'm considering going to a compact frame (from Full Size). Does anyone have both frames for a comparison shot or happen to have length measurements on the relative grips? So I was looking up ATF regs on building my own funs and saw this:

What is the purpose of the 10 imported parts limitation? If I literally smelt all the material for my firearm myself, I wouldn't need to purchase or import any parts in the build. Is this somehow related to full autos? Seems like a completely arbitrary number.

I have a really hard time seeing irons when I wear shooting glasses, and especially on AKs I'll get pretty bad cheek slap.
With no glasses on, I can see irons just fine and make AK my bitch.
Are there any glasses out there that specifically prevent this kind of parallax or should I just let my eyes possibly get fucked

I've been wanting to get a small carry gun. I rented a XDS 45 at a range yesterday. Overall I thought it was pretty good but accuracy seemed to be an issue (could have been me though). I've also been also considering a Sig P938. Any suggestions as to which is the better choice or am I comparing apples to oranges?

the extractor and the bolt head arent meant for 5.56, so there would definitely be feeding/extraction issues, and possible gas/cycling issues.
The only thing out of place, is they used the wrong barrel, everything else is meant for 5.45.
Have you checked your barrel or fired the rifle yet? because if it IS keyholing, you can contact century and get them to swap there barrel, most likely for free since that was a huge deal when those rifles were sold.
