>READ MANUAL BEFORE USE
I bet you didn't even read the booklet for games in the back seat on the way home from the store
fucking plebs, man.
>>29973662
>back seat
>not reading booklet while driving
>>29973608
>mfw none of my guns have this autistic bullshit printed on them
>>29973608
Yes.
>>29973608
As long as it isn't stamped on the gun I don't have an issue with it. Only things that should be on the gun are caliber/chamberings, manufacturer, serial number, maybe place of manufacture, safe/fire markings and I wouldn't object to twist rate, length and material on barrels.

Sometimes it's not just nostalgia. The old manuals were way better. It was fun to read them. You got a rundown of the story and some background on the friends and enemies you'd soon come face to face with. Good times.
>>29973608
Isn't that shit mostly for the lawyers though? Cause let's face it, the average person isn't too bright. They'll do something stupid like use Vaseline as lube then sue the manufacturer cause their gun caught fire.
>>29973608
>READ MANUEL BEFORE USE
>ITS FUCKING ROLL MARKED INTO THE GUN
Fucking Ruger and Mossberg.
>>29973811
My Super Redhawk has it right on the side of the barrel. The Vaquero I just bought has it on the bottom of the barrel though. Don't know why they don't just do away with it altogether.

>I bet you didn't even read the booklet for games in the back seat on the way home from the store
I haven't done this since the publishers stopped putting effort into them. They were practically novels back then.
>>29973662
oh fuck that just hit me hard
>when you mom drives you 30 miles to the only gamestop in that part of your state
>you spend 45 minutes just looking at the shelves/all the stuff they have
wew

Mfw friend shows me his new turkish over under, beautiful wood finished like a mirror, perfect bluing and awesome engraved receiver
READ INSTRUCTION MANUEL BEFORE USE. MADE IN TURKEY.
In fat block letters on the side of the barrel
I read manuals for synths i buy now since they really do help
>>29973823
Man how is it? Someone is selling one on Armslist near me but I'm wasting my paychecks too often on guns & ammo. I want a .454 revolver eventually though, is ehy I'm always sad hearing about Taurus since their revolvers are priced well.
>>29973682
>that subtle bowtie
You've been here a while, haven't you?
>>29973608
>tfw its on the side of my .22lr pistol
>Covered it with skateboard tape
>>29975119
At least it wasn't electro-penciled on freehand in broken English. Like the first-run Baikals.
>>29973808
Can I use cosmoline as lube?
>>29973608
I sold my Ruger because of this shit. Who has the time to read the damn manual every time you use it? And Jamaul isn't going to wait for you to read some book before you can defend yourself. I don't know why anyone would carry a gun that says this.
>>29973823
probably has something to do with legal liabilities and such
>>29973673
Not all of us discovered vidya as adults.
When the put that shit on a slide really grinds my gears. Why doesn't some shit bag put "make sure to buckle your seat belt, adjust all mirrors, and check tires for proper inflation before operating," etched into driver doors?
>>29975119
Manuel just couldn't remember how to operate it.
>>29973837
>Now they're just epilepsy warnings
I remember the Oblivion manual was as thick as a Reader's Digest.
>>29976238
Had lots of art and things, too.
>>29973608
Well, gives me something to do before I can get to the range.
>>29973823
Please tell me that it's not on all of them. I was thinking of getting one in .454.
>>29973608
all guns are designed differently, and it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with their operation.
don't be a fucking scrub.
>Please refrain from shooting fellow patrons
>>29973608
It's legal protection from all the idiots who sue when they blow their hands off.
>>29976253
>Had lots of art and things, too.
You have to pay an extra $10-$20 for a collector's edition to get that kind of shit these days.
