If I could go back and do it again, I'd spend the extra $150-200 and get a smith or ruger, but damnit, I wouldnt trade my taurus 66 for anything. I have put easily 20,000 rounds down the bore, about 5k of them being 357 magnum, the rest light 38 loads. Super accurate- I cant describe it, but I have become one with that gun. I dont even have to focus on the sights, I hit what i'm aiming at every time just point shooting. 1.5" 7 shot groups at 25 yards from a rest or 1.5" offhand groups at 15yd are pretty easy to pull off without really trying.
My best groups with any semi auto I own are twice the size or bigger.
