What are the advantages/ disadvantages of direct impingement, piston, and roller/delayed blowback along with other notable gas systems?
Piston will jam way more then gas systems, in my experince

direct impingement sprays carbon all over the place and is messy, its like anal
blowback is a bitch to take apart

What are some examples of rifles that capitalize the most on the advantages of their system/minimize the disadvantages? I'm looking for the gold standard of each to compare, preferably all in the same caliber.

This pretty much sums it up. Just take it like a man and get DI. Don't make it more complicated than it already is.

Except that that's wrong.
Note where the gas is coming from.
The breech. After a shell is ejected.
Just like every other autoloading firearm on Earth.

Is it true that AR's use O-rings?

takes out a lot of jews per can

When do we start sodomizing people for spewing this shit?
>>29940093
are you fucking stupid by any chance?
>>29940139
Holy fuck that can't be serious... That's a joke right? Someone made that and it's fake.

>gas systems
>gas chambers
Basically the same thing right?
>>29940139
>60% more gas per boolet
>>29940101
gas rings, same as on the head of your piston just within the bolt carrier itself.
>>29940139
technically ARs are piston/DI not pure DI
>>29941609
>gas chamber
Physical part.
>gas systems
Concept involving more than just the chamber.
Fuck you tripfag.

An hero trip fag
Still looking for answers to >>29939984
Particularly for when it comes to handguns but rifles also help.
>>29940243
how is it wrong?
What would be a preferred system for something like a high capacity 9mm with a uniquely wide grip, as if to fit casket style magazines within the grip.
>>29943022
No idea what to tell you there. There's only so many ways to push a piston backwards and have a spring push it back, and mostly I don't really care about the difference.
If the trigger isn't complete shit and I can put my cheek behind the sights, I've found nearly every rifle I've picked up will let me put a bullet where I want.

We'll I suppose it all boils down to maintenance, reliability, and ease of assembly/disassembly to me, my only experience so far is with ar 15s/ actual m16s so it's pretty limited.
