WTB a compact semi-auto "pocket pistol"

I'm looking at a Bersa Thunder, PA-63, Makarov, and a PPK. Maybe a P64
Any suggestions? pros and cons?

have a bersa thunder 380CC
it's pretty tits, shoulder holster rig just came in last night.
I've put about 100 rds through it, sights are pretty shit but it's more accurate than I am. I really like that it has a little weight to it, and once you figure out how to grip properly the recoil isn't a big deal. Fun little gun.
fit and finish on it were good, I bought it brand new about 3 months ago. No issues or complaints so far

Those aren't pocket pistols.
The LCP and Kahr P380 are pocket pistols.
Only time you should ever settle for a .380 is when you absolutely need to be concealed or just want to throw something really light in your pocket for the sake of convenience.
Larger .380's are for spics who live in South America and can't own real nina.

None of those are small enough to be pocket pistols.
Pocket pistols are pistols that are so small that you literally carry them on you all day long without any problem, with any outfit. It's as casual as it gets. You won't do that with any of the pistols you listed. They'll go into waist-band holsters or shoulder holsters, shit like that.

I agree with this poster. But the makarov is the only "decent" option out of those shitty guns. That being said, it's still huge and nowhere near the size of a pocket gun.
You can literally buy a smaller, more compact and not-shit gun like the lcp custom for much less. And it has a better set of sights and trigger.
Thank fucking god nobody mentioned the tokarev yet.

I've owned four Prewar/wartime PPK's and two similar PP's.
The Makarov is a better piece, if you buy a solid variant.

This is the best choice out of the ones you listed. If you hurry, you can get a milsurp unissued Bulgy Mak with matching extra mag, holster, and armorers log for ~$330. 8+1 of 9x18mak FMJ aint nothin to joke about.

S&W licensed horseshit. Unless you gonna drop ~$1k on a realdeal 'made in germany' Walther PPK, don't waste your money. Go look up feedramp problems, sharp milling work/ ppk cut me again, ppk jams every mag, etc

I gave my wife a Bersa Thunder, fun pistol until it started consistently jamming. I maintain our guns very well..I sold it and never had any idea why it jammed so much. They also used to sell them with only one mag..which is lame.
I'd suggest a glock 43 (new) or a springfield xds (just bought one for my wife)

The PP and PPK are well made, but have some quirks.
I genuinely liked mine for their absurd fit and finish, but they were no a pistol I could shoot well.
I also owned a few TPH's and TP22's that suffered the same fate. Decently made, but not meant for hands used to a 1911.
Kind of wishing I'd held onto them now. The TP22 especially, used to be absurdly inexpensive.

Unless there's a massive fire sale where they drop to $300-$350 I don't see it happening. People bitch about the controls on the 92fs as it is and the P07 is in the Px4s price range but nobody has one of those either even though they love cz so much.Not to mention having barrel that won't accept a suppressor That nobody would buy somehow hurts the design

I would give it a shot. A bit thick compared to the usual fare but that's mostly the levers. Good shooters and you can find em for good prices. I think they look pretty neat too.
My only complaint are the mags. Same story with the cougar. So damn close to being the same as the 90 series

The only thing fitting in a non-plus-plus-plus size pocket and actually semi concealing is a baby polymer 380.
Bodyguard .380 has been great for me.
this is the Era of single stack 9mm that are the size of all those old metal 380 and lighter.

I carry my Bulgarian Makarov. Out aga holster from Amazon, Wolff 21lb Spring, Pearce rubber grips, and polished up the trigger, sear, and hammer. Reliable and accurate with a smooth trigger pull. The grips and spring do wonders for the shootability of the gun.
That said you can get a S&W Shield 9 for like...$50 more.
