Ok, got this in an estate sale, fitted to a frame, everything works in the frame and slide. I just can't figue out what kind of recoil plug/nut something I need. My Google-fu failed. I'm hoping night /k/ will help.

Yes but no, I have a 2 piece guide rod and a spring. But when it all goes together there is no nut connecting the slide to current pass through plug to return to battery.
I'm just at a loss, seems like it should have a built in barrel bushing but doesnt.
You need a reverse plug.

I would assume gov't length reverse plug, there's wear marks on the comp assembly like it was machined for the extra length of the plug. Nowlin sells them.
