I have a job interview for a Federal law enforcement position in a few days. I've never had a government or police interview before, so I'm just wondering if anyone has advice on what I should do to prepare. I'm not sure what type of questions I'll be asked. Even though it's more of a Force Protection job than actual police work, it would be a big step up for me.
Any advice?

Is TP-ing considered arson? This happened like 4 years ago before I was 18. And when I was 11, I got caught stealing beef jerky from a gas station. I'm 20 now and studying criminal justice in college, but I'm afraid that will hold me back. I dont remember much, but I got 10 hours of community service and got a ride from a police officer back home when it was done.
Should I just stop or I might have a chance?

That was originally the thing, but the AF actually has an AFI covering leosa for military and civil service cops, and it references some federal ruling about it. I'll see if I can find the reg after I get home.

each DoD component is different. and the NGA's initial test was a complete joke.
19 push-ups in 2 min, 1.5 mile run in 18min. That was the bare minimum. But they scored how many you actually did and use that during the rest of the hiring process.
For the specific agency I applied for, I'm not sure what the PT test looks like

no it definitely wasn't. Then again, the NGA was desperate for people at the time. So maybe the lower the initial pre-FLETC standard to get people in the pipeline. I'm not sure if the current NGA officers take the same test or a different one.
