Strong Europe Tank Challenge begins today in Grafenwoehr, Germany!
The event will last until the 12th, with the awards ceremony taking place on May 13.

Seven platoons from the 6 following nations will take part:
>Czech Republic (T72M4CZ)
>Denmark(Leopard 2A5)
>Germany (Leopard 2A7)
>Italy(Ariete)
>Poland(Either the PT-91 or the Leopard 2A5)
>Slovenia(M-84)
>United States(Abrams)
(these aren't official, but they seem the most likely choices for me)

Here is the promo video
https://youtu.be/xr3xmCvwYFE

And here is footage of the competitors meeting up and checking out eachother's tanks
https://youtu.be/2D2m9qpJB7U

Unfortunately no Brits and their Challenger 2 or Frenchies and their LeClerc, so not a whole lot of different tanks, but should still be interesting.
I haven't found any kind of stream of the competition or anything, so something tells me we'll have to stick to recorded footage a few days from today...

Make your predictions!

Here is the T-72M4CZ.
I'll be bumping with a couple pics of the tanks in the competition.

This is either an A7 or A7+, with a sweet dozer blade mounted.

How do we know that Poland wont use the PL-01? It could be competing right now and we would never know!

The PT-91. It's an improved version of the T-72.

>>29900142
I didn't see it in the meetup video, but maybe they want it to be a surprise!

If it's anything like the old CAT, then whoever knows the course better will have a serious advantage. Just look at how well the M60A1 RISE performed well above what it should have in '83.

It'll be interesting to see if the former NORTHAG units still prove to be the kings of the tournament though like they were throughout almost all of the CAT.

Unfortunately, the shitposting here no matter what will be absolutely absurd.

And, lastly, the Abrams in woodland camo.
God knows we're all tired of that fucking desert yellow!

Not a 2A7, the gun's too short. It looks like the PSO if wikipedia's to be believed, otherwise it's a 2A7+

The PL-01 was a wood mockup on a CV90, and Poland has no interest.

It is dead on arrival.
