I've got a 10 year plan in place right now that should allow me to accrue 5-8 million in assets by the end, depending on how well I do with it.
If at the end of the 10 years I liquidated everything, would it be enough to fulfill my dream of buying a large flying boat and living out the rest of my days on it as a world traveling air pirate?
Or do I have to push the timeline back even farther?

I don't have any serious airframe experience, but I'm in the piloting industry. Not currently cross certified to fixed wing, but it's a pretty easy transition from rotorcraft. I just want to retire relatively young and spend my days checking out remote pacific islands and fishing off the wing of my seaplane.
