Anybody conceal carry to an anime or furry convention? Personal experiences, thoughts, comments? Sorry if this is the wrong place to be asking this but, I didn't want to ask /cgl/ because they're a bunch of sissy cucklords in pink dresses that would obviously disagree with any real firearm usage at any given time.
I also wanted to know your thoughts on prop weapons at any type of convention (anime, gaming, historical, whatever.) Should it be allowed, limited, no weapons at all?
One time I CCd chlorine gas at a furry convention. People took it the wrong way so I imagine doing it with a gun would be even worse.

It was. I appendix carry an lcp, it pretty much followed the outline of my cock. I think that was the only time I ever carried with out a round in the chamber, due to having one of those slide clips on it for the carrying device

Not allowed for most i assume. when i spat out the imaginative idea to make T45D armor out of real metal to a convention nut I'm friends with, they sighed and stated that most of them do not allow any metals for anything.

Here in WA, you need orange tip on all props, if it is an airsoft gun, it has to have its barreled Perma sealed. They than zip tie the trigger down too.

At Anime Boston they just made people go to the weapon inspection station and get an orange zip tie through the trigger guard. My plastic/styrofoam MA5B, Pulse Rifle and bolt pistol got in without trouble even though some asshole dressed as Vash did some stupid shit in the adjacent mall.
I got crossfaded and tried to buy a dudes taurus at the last anthrocon

My experience is only with Sakura Con at the Washington State Convention Center. The center allows concealed carry, but convention organizers can place their own rules against functioning weapons. So worst case you get your badge revoked.
I've thought about open carrying in cosplay to PAX at the same location but staying outside where you only need to meet state laws.

The only one I know of that bothers with bag checks is Anime Expo, and they're pretty easy to avoid if you actually wanted to. (You can just walk up some stairs and enter on the second floor.) Even when you go through the bag check it's really cursory since they're so busy, I pretty much always have a knife in my pocket and I'm pretty sure I could easily tuck a handgun in the bottom of my camera bag and not have them notice it.
I'm not against security and stuff at anime and comic cons, though. They're an incredibly ripe target for an attack, with tons of people densely packed into a small area, and cons tend to attract the kind of people who might shoot up or bomb an event. (And that's not even getting into the possibility of some insane fundamentalists going after it because they think it's devil worship or something, there are already mobs of Jesus freaks that protest outside every major con here in CA.)
