M48 Mauser with matching parts, non matching bayonet sling and pouch for 280$ how'd I do?
2/2
Looks pretty clean, the butt plates a bit dinged but otherwise in great shape.
Unpopular opinion: I like the Mauser action better than the lee enfields
>>29839828
You did good, in my area they go for $300 without sling or bayonet and in not as nice condition.
>>29839828
>>29839851
You did really good OP! I love my m48 also. To be honest, after getting a Lee Enfield, I think the mauser is better. That's why I'm selling the Enfield.
just ordered pic related. dude said 'usually' ruger fulfillment was 4-5 weeks. hopefully it all works out.
good. pad your shoulder
>>29839974
How much you selling for and which model?
>>29841373
No.4MK1 been sporterized a long time ago though comes with scope missing the clip, and 900 dollars.
>>29841434
>Sporterized No.4
>No magazine
>$900
LMAO
My M39 just arrived at a local FFL. I'm not going to be in town until 9 days. Paid 400 for it, IIRC the FFL fee is 35.
Great job op
>>29841469
looks good. classic firearms?
>>29841443
Yet another uneducated troll poster. Don't like the price don't buy it. Not my fault you can't appreciate good guns.
>>29841674
So the guy calling you out on trying to sell a gun for over 3x it's price is the troll.
Maybe you should go hang out with the fudds at your LGS.
>>29841487
Yeah its from classic. I was pleasantly surprised to see I got a hex receiver and the grain is pretty good.
>>29841719
Maybe it's a 700$ scope
>>29841783
Then sell the scope separate? No one in their right fucking mind would pay 900 bucks for a fucking Sporter No.4
>>29839851
>commie stamp
OP that gun is possessed by the spirit of based Tito, treat it wisely and it will fend of vodka soaked Russians, stormfag Germans, and fat Ameriburgers alike.
>>29841732
>I was pleasantly surprised to see I got a hex receiver
I'd be much more surprised if it was a round receiver. 95%+ were built on hex receivers as that is what the Finns had in inventory from previously acquired and assembled rifles that were rebuilt as M39s and wartime captured Soviet rifles who's parts were reused.
The idea of Finns capturing Soviet guns with round receivers (which started production in 1935-1936 ish) and then using their receivers in M39s is silly because one: The Finns wouldn't have had an opportunity to capture round receiver rifles until the Winter War in 1939, and two: why bother spending all that time and effort rebuilding perfectly serviceable captured rifles when in the middle of a war and when there is already an abundance of parts to build more rifles?
Round receiver M39s are literally a 10/10 on the 1-10 rarity scale.
Either way though you'll have great fun with it as they're fantastic rifles. I sold all of my Finns last year and although I don't regret it as I made some nice money from them I do miss the fun factor of finding cool variations in rifles and building a collection off of that.
>>29841469
Very nice I got mine on Sat.
>>29841805
Oh I'm sorry I wasn't aware I was in a thread with the person that gets to decide what all the guns in the world are worth. Sounds like you are too poor to afford an actual good gun, go back to playing with your Mosin if you even have one.
>>29842235
Not him, but what makes your rifle three times the market price?
Just got it today. Razor Gen i I 4.5-27 ebr2c
>>29841840
That makes a lot of sense that round receivers are pretty uncommon then.
>>29841889
Nice, did yours come with a bayonet?
>>29842296
>M39
>Bayonet
The bayonets for those are worth more than the guns.
>>29842235
>Un-Issued No. 4 MKII's go for 700-800
>Sporters go for 150-300
>lgs has 3 Sporter No. 4s all priced at 250 and they havent moved in 2 years.
You are never gunna get 900 senpai
>>29842296
The bayonets alone sell for ~$450. I sold my M39 with a bayonet for $950 last year.
>>29842301
>>29842327
Oh, I didn't know they were that rare. Maybe I'll just duct tape my pukko to the barrel.
Gun is a few weeks old, but rail is new.
Optic soon to come.
Just put picked this up the other day from my FFL. S&W model 49, like new j-frame from 1980.
>>29839828
>>29839851
better than me. I paid around $350 for a matched bolt and reciever M48 from my LGS 3 years ago.
Lesson learned.
I spent $350 on my m48 at a LGS, no bayo or pouch but it was clean with only a little cosmoline in the internal parts and got a 1year warranty from the lgs
>>29839828
Not bad. I just agreed to buy a nice M48, drilled and tapped with a scope for $290 shipped to me. I have a matching original one but I wanted one that was drilled and tapped and didn't wanna drill and tap that one because "muh historical value."
>>29845575
I can see the thought process there. Why chop up two historic rifles, right? Has anyone ever un-drilled a Mauser of enfield? I've seen mosins that clearly had scopes at one point, the holes filled in and an insert of new wood put in
>>29841373
I'm selling for $500, includes 80 rounds, it has a fantastic bore.
>>29841373
Forgot to mention that it's a no4 mk1/2 (FTR), original maltby 1943 FTR'd in 1952.
