I mean.... I know they were always strong in numbers ,but in terms of military technology ,equipment and training....for example lets compare Russia in WW2 and todays Russia , are they closer to the most modern militaries in terms of technology and training then they were back during WW2 ?
Maybe the small special units and a few squadrons of their air force.
They don't have the logistics to properly train and support an effective military. They also have conscription and treat them like shit.
