Hey /k/, I'm a newfag, and I was wondering about your suggestions for an ideal weapon for home defense. I live in an area with a lot of junkies and a high crime rate, but my current apartment is relatively secure. That said, better safe than sorry.

But if you're worried about your stupid neighbors or whatever you could always get a pistol caliber pdw like a beretta or keltec

Use something quick and easy to hide. Pistol would be the best way to go. Later think about your aim. Is it any good? If not then you better get something with high capacity. Probably a 9 mil would do it

I'd recommend a pistols with hollow point ammunition and a large magazine. Just make sure that whatever you get is either on you or within arms reach at all times. You can have a laser gun but it would be useless if you can't get to it, also having it in sight and under control would help prevent accidents of you have kids.
