What's your opinions on the FN SCAR (light and heavy)? I shot a 16s awhile ago and it was crazy accurate and it felt nice.

If FN releases a SCAR 17 Mark2 with a lower that accepts pmags then I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I can't stand the fact that you need to buy a $2.5k gun AND and aftermarket lower just to use pmags. Fuckin ridiculous. Also FN needs to upgrade the folding stock to suck less.

The SCAR-17s is the best battle rifle on the market today. I shot SCAR-H once in Afghanistan, and it felt light even with the shitty Elcans. It was bulkier than an AR-15, though.

Several of the youtube channel guys have stated that the scar H would be their go to rifle from their collection if SHTF or they suddenly had some scenario where they needed a combat rifle. If you don't mind the ugg boot it seems like the best thing going.
