This has probably been discussed before so I apologise but what do you guys think about the Keltec RDB in general and in particular whether or not we'll get it?
>>
>>29803782
Keltek has a pretty strong presence in the Canadian Market. I have no doubt they will be bringing it in.
>>
>>29803782
What's the difference between that and the RFB, and what calibers is it available in?
>>
>>29803894

>Rifle, Downward-ejecting Bullpup

There's a clue. Also the RFB is .308 and RDB is .223
>>
>>29803894
RFB is .308 and ejects foreward
RDB is .223 and ejects downward

There are additional .223 based calibers in the works for the RDB and a .308 version to phase out the RFB in the future.
>>
>>29803933
Just found the article again looks like first other caliber announced is 6.5 Grendel

>>
>>29812160
Proprietary mags for something like a BLR are made in relatively low numbers. AK and AR mags are cheap because everyone makes them, since lots of guns use them and everyone wants a bunch, most fudds only use the one they get with their rifles.
>>
>>29812108
If it does I will not comply. Look into the Luty and Owens submachine guns as well. Apparently the Luty is easier to make than the Sten. If you could get plans for the last ditch/home defense subguns that the Rhodesians came up with, or the Nazis circa 1945, those were also pretty good apparently.

I've had LASIK done to me. It was incredible pain, akin to gravel in the eyes, for a day, and permanent sensitivity to light to the point where sunglasses are necessary. If I could go back and spare myself from that agony to just stick with contacts, I wouldn't do it. Contacts fucking suck and the annoyance never really decreases, plus there is the threat that they could permanently melt onto your eye, or roll back into your socket possibly severing the optic nerve. I wore glasses despite having the option for contacts unless contacts were really needed.

The long form census was only recently abolished, then reinstated. It's a useful tool for actually getting a picture of how Canadians feel from coast to coast.

Ask your parents, it's not a big deal. I mean ffs, you can be charged for not voting in Australia, I think that policy should be adopted by every democracy.

Not having any incentive to complete the census means a great deal of people won't complete it (not unlike voting). Not having the census at all supports the notion that governments should remain disconnected to the wishes of their constituents.

C'mon Canada, don't be so lazy please.

Stats Canada can use said information to inform on statistical (not personal, as that would be violating our constitution) information to help influence how our tax dollars and representatives are utilized.

It's a good thing to know what demographics of people are in need of assistance. Weather it be relating to employment, health or quality of life. It's hard work figuring out the needs of citizens spread across the second largest nation in the world.

see if you can find a adjustable gas plug for it, and stay away from the super hot or super heavy commercial loads, keep it ~150gr and you should be A-OK.

No Liberals don't want to touch it. Their last attempt at gun control, and a much softer attempt at that, resulted in the Conservatives gaining power for over a decade. Even if it somehow gained another sponsor it would die in the Senate after voting. Still a good idea to email or mail-mail MPs to tell them that it's a shit bill.
>>
>>29831592
Their most recent attempt at gun control was that thing where all serial numbers of every firearm coming into Canada as of July 2017 must have "CA" stamped next to them.

I have no idea what this accomplishes other than raising prices. I could always make more money, but as long as it's non-restricted, the extra two letters on the serial number doesn't do shit for me. Hell, even if it's restricted, there's still sweet fuck all, because everything else would be status quo.
>>
>>29831493

well this is what it's come down to since gun owners were split into hunters, target shooters, fudds, etc and they never protect eachothers rights. You're basically fucked and well the RCMP will probably take your guns and forget to return them but it might not be a bad opportunity to say your restricteds were destroyed then get caught and ass raped. It's very shit but theres a chance it'll get better especially if one day the RCMP start treating firearm owners like human beings instead of something to be eliminated.

It was never about the benefit. You are trying to talk sense into the senseless and unfortunately it's a losing battle.

In my experience, every single person has at least one, and often a great many, things that have completely irrational thoughts about. Some people hate guns, some people are super racist, some people believe that they can hang toilet paper with the end going in behind. Canadian gun laws were never about making people safe or being effective. They were about shoveling $2,000,000,000 in taxpayer money to government friendly contractors.

Genetics, or more precisely the genes that vary while you live. Most of them were still on the hunter gatherer lifestyle until less than 200 years ago. When food access is not guaranteed and requires a lot of energy expenditure (unlike most Whites or Asians, who have been living in stable agricultural societies since at least 2000 years) you tend to get fatter easily when it is lacking.
>>
>>29835011
They descend of Asians from way before agricultural societies happened. The only Natives that had a fairly stable food source in Canada are the BC ones, with the salmon and all.
>>
>>29809699
Fuck off Zac
>>
>>29834968
Any gun store is, but you have to either navigate ITAR regs or have one of the importation companies do it for you. Basically if you're buying a gun you ship it to the FFL in the states and they import it and ship it to you.
>>
>>29832436
Probably habbening as we shitpost

>>29835993
What isn't happening is the government helping people, I went up to help get people out and there was more civilians helping eachother than police and shit, police and fire fighters literally cannot help a majority of people, I've given most of most of my food and stored water, I've given clothes and supplies, I have yet to hear what notley or Trudeau is going to do, besides sending condolences and providing some assets to help.
>>
>>29836105
What sucks about this is that the fire department, medical service, and the blue boys will get credit for all the rescue efforts after this ends. We will see nothing about the civilians who did the vast majority of the rescue. Canadians will once again end another disaster with the illusion that we can not survive without uniformed government workers and under this cloak, government will get bigger.

Yeah I don't mean now, that's for sure. I already know my house is done burning though.

Originally they routed us North toward Fort McKay since 63 South was on fire. They opened it back up late at night so we turned around and went back through Fort McMurray so we wouldn't be trapped up there.
We had to go back to see if our house was still okay. It was burned to the ground, there was nothing left but a pile of ash. It was crazy, like something you see in a movie or a game. I didn't think houses could actually be reduced to nothing in a matter of hours like that.
