I'm gonna say no. If they'd had that stuff, they would have made a botched plan with that stuff instead. Bad military planning can't be saved by better equipment and troops.
Look at Operation Eagle Claw, for example. Modern special forces. Modern arms, comms, etc. Fucking rotary wing transport, which is god tier compared to the paratroopers and gliders of Market Garden. And it was still a dog's breakfast due to poor planning.
If you gave Monty and his planners the best troops in the world, he would look at them, take shit for granted, and come up with a bad plan anyway.
