It's down on the right, the First models correspond to Prototype 2, Model A and B, being the 4th one the "Chopo" Used the most, and the last one the model E, previous to the L.

I'm not sure about the E, but all othe others use 7,62x51 CETME, later on 7,62x51 NATO, and then the L uses 5,56 NATO.

Ah, I missed out on the text. So the Modelo No2 uses a curved 30round 7.62x51 CETME magazine? For a second I thought they were some experimental cartridges due to the short stature of it

Model E
>Mod L style rear sight
>different triple frame - straight open top front sight hood
>MP5 style reciever enshrouding stock
>New grenade launching muzzle device
>Poly mag
>New forearm

Why the fuck haven't we seen parts kits of these yet? We already have Mod C's and 5.56 mod L's, and I know Century never got their hands on this. Is spain retaining these for DMR use?

Also fuck spain for not ironing out the Ameli's issues

The model E could've completely been the standard rifle, it's a "Plastic" model C, it'd be less strong, but ligther and the ammo would still not be shitty NATO 5,56.

Thanks for clearing that and the cool pic.

Such a meme that the legion is known as foreign legion but is instead the single most national corp of the army.

I still don't understand why they dropped the mod L instead of slapping a collapsible and a rail system on all of them.

Why are they so far up H&K's ass now?
I just frigging hate it when a country tanks it's domestic national arms industry. Britain and spain tanked their national small arms industry

Guys, It's 5 AM, I'm going to bed.

If you could keep this thread alive during the night I'd appreciate it.

Last post before I'm off.

Spain cycled out the CETMES for no apparent reason, some say it's because R&D costs too much, and official shit says we needed to get 5,56 so NATO wouldn't cry.

The thing is, the model C, with those adjustments would be a nice battle riffle, and the model E with some others could perfectly serve as Assault rifle + Ameli MG, there never was a need to update to the G36.

And we always have been up H&K's ass, they made the CETME, which lead to the production of the G3, which is a shittier variant, IMO.
