Remington Rands are $800-1200 guns. That's not "excellent to great condition." All Army guns were shot to shit, rebuilt, and refinished multiple times. Like you pointed out, the barrel isn't even correct to that gun, and you can see the Springfield mark on the frame showing that the gun has been rebuilt.
