Aerial view of the range. There's a rifle and pistol range both with awnings for shade and a shotgun range, so bring some clay pigeons and a thrower if you want. It has a bathroom onsite too.

I also rented out a campsite for us to use, we'll be the only one out there for the whole weekend. Though we might see a few locals at the range since it's a public one.

The range also has a bathroom and close parking so anyone that wants to camp out in their car is welcome to do so.
NuggetFest is and always will be free. I'll be bringing some bacon and eggs to make everyone breakfast on Saturday morning. We might do some other communal cooking too but remember to bring enough supplies for yourself and your friends for 3 days.

I meant to say the campsite, has a bathroom also and close by parking. The range closes at dark, but you hang out by the campfire at the campsite as long as you want.
Speaking of, if you're a light/early sleeper you might want to set up your tent a little ways away from the campfire because we usually have some night owls that stay up and chat (sometimes loudly)
I'm down. I hadn't properly camped in forever because I don't have the proper equipment. Then again a poncho liner, a case of MREs, a few gallons of water, and sleeping in the car is adequate for many adventures on the go.
It's a roof over my head and I won't have to sleep directly on the ground.

I'll be at the clean up on Sunday and can stay til Monday. Oh, don't burn the rifle racks before I get there. I want to keep those and bring them to the Virginia NuggetFest. They were still in good condition back in February so I imagine they're still usable.

Honestly, you'll probably get some people asking how you liked the gear and if you'd recommend it. There's no shame in actually trying something out. That's part of the fun of NuggetFest. You get to see what gear is worth it's salt and what isn't.

Sure, we've had several /k/ommandos bring their girlfriends. If she likes the outdoors and shooting guns she'll most likely have a great time. You can also tell her that both the range and campsite have a restroom, I'm sure she'll appreciate that.
/k/ommandos are some of the most generous people I've met and often share firearms. If you see something in a thread that someone is bringing and you really want to shoot it, ask what ammo they use and bring some. Though a lot of people will be happy to let you shoot a few rounds for free. Or in exchange for helping carry heavier gear. I think the Barrett .50cal is the most expensive rifle. Like $20,000 counting optics and suppressor.

Ah, misread your meaning. The campsite was listed as having room for 25 cars. We've had over 80 /k/ommandos at NuggetFest before but haven't had over 25 cars before. (thanks to carpooling) I'm not worried about parking being an issue but if it does become a problem, I'll coordinate a few people parking their cars elsewhere.

Anyways... I'm still working on optimum load development for the MRAD, but so far, it shoot like a fine bullet laser. All factory ammo and handloads shoot handily shoot 1MOA in "field conditions". I'm certain the rifle is capable of better when shot from a bench in a lead sled.... but that's not my style. The plates on the side say "Article of Impeachment", for extra-edgy-ness.

As such NuggetFest does not cater to special interest groups or permit anyone to act at the expense of others. I can't control shitposting or bait comments online anymore than the rest of you.
