FOV is a nice thing, The Ruger:GS is situationally excellent and otherwise acceptable. Peeps with bad eyes often find scout scopes easier to boot.
In it's role as a utilitarian knock about bolt action game getter, it's entirely acceptable. At least post fucking guns if you're going to act like a fucking autist.

Its a parkerized RIA 1911, outside on a wood table with the magazine out showing PDX1 hollowpoints. the back of the gun was propped up a little with the barrel toward the camera. I lost it in a recent format, it was a decent photo.
