Milsurp thread is about to reach its limit. Anyone else have anything from the Korean War?
Guys, I got this smock and I'm wondering what some of the bits of it are for. I don't usually buy military-style stuff and am quite ignorant about it.
There is a flap with velcro on the breast of it: is that to secure some kind of ID?
On the inside of the hood, at the back, there is a flap with velcro. Is this for attaching a hood to a helmet?
On the outside of the hood, on the back, there is a little piece of velcro. Is this for some kind of reflector?

You are right about the ID velcro. The velcro in the neck and on the hood is for rolling up the hood and "stowing" IT away
