the show involved almost no real information about guns. this shit was like a show about trains for kids, it shows the trains, how fast they go, and it's all fun and colorful. purely entertainment no real substance.
futureweapons at least showed you some newish stuff that you may not have known about without looking for info on it specifically. many other military channel / disc network shows on firearms involved much more factual info and showed the practical application of said weapons.
thought it was the first show like it i remember really, so i guess it served the same purpose as a kid's documentary about trains
