I actually have a plan, all budgeted out, for purchases not including ammo until the end of the year.
1. Upgrade my ruger 10/22 Boyd stock, sight rail, green mountain barrel. Slap a 3-9x I got laying around, now I can try taking my .22 out past 50 yards
2. Stoeger m3k and extension tube
3. Pig bomber double pouch, dump pouch, and vlecro inner belt for my tyr belt
4. First pistol
5. Zenith zp5 for mp5 clone sbr project
I think I can afford to drop 4k before ammo this year, and this seems the best spending of it.

I'm planning on buying a Skorpion as my first SBR, and then a CZ 75 because I want my first all metal pistol. And of course it's Czechnology and its sexy so I consider it a vital part to my future collection
