Anything in .308 or better would do just fine. You could probably get away with it using an intermediate round, but real NATO is going to punch through every time.

I'd probably go with a semi-auto .50, engines can run for a while even if you punch through the block, a lot of people have tested this.
If I had to stop a vehicle I'd like to be able to accurately place at least three shots in the block pretty quickly.

Seem to say it won't really work unless you hit something like a fuel line etc.
That said, I'd want a rifle/caliber that can stop say a vehicle from a distance, not one that requires me to mag-dump into the hood of said vehicle.
So I'd still go with something like a .50.

wow this is a terrible guide. Why would an mrap driver go down an alley that could trap them. even so, its armored, they wouldnt give up just because there was a burning car at the ends.
