>cheap, 9mm ghetto blaster that became increasingly infamous
Was the TEC-9 the original Hi-Point?

No, Hi Points actually work from time to time.
You'd have better luck throwing that thing as a boomerang.
Nah. Before hi-points, there were all manner of crappy little .25s and revolvers. "Saturday Night Specials."

Chronological order.
Iver Johnson>ring of fire pistols>hi-point
Not really sure what would Compare to Tec really. Modified surplus maybe

I know it's garbage but I've wanted to pick one up for awhile now. But none of them ever have that sickass barrel shroud so like what even is the point?

It's ok to say you've never shot one. It's no ok to regurgitate asinine statements that you heard someone else say one time.

except Hi Points actually work

I actually have one that works pretty good and runs cheap ammo like it's nothing. Sure it jam's once in a while but it's good fun. I wouldn't take it to war or something like that though. Also if you love the 80's like I do, it's a must.

Try again fambula.

I wish there were more tube guns nowadays, I like them at least visually but they seem to have a history of gaining infamy and being cheap yet functional compared to other guns made to a similar standard.
