who FMJ EDC here
>>29533696
Not me :^)
>>29533696
Only on top of my spares, frienderino
>>29533696
Why would you do such a thing?
>>29535098
You're just trolling now
>>29535308
Well Meme'd
>>29535098
I see this a lot bu I don't know the purpose, care to enlighten me?
Not me either. I'm hardcast
>>29537889
It prepares the muzzle for the larger bored hollowpoint so that the feed ramp doesn't lock back after the first shot.
>>29535308
I think fmj would actually be more effective
I only use ball ammo.
>>29537941
It's like my brain is trying to read it as a coherent sentence, but it just won't click.
who here /blazeraluminums/?
If it goes bang, it's all good. Don't buy into this whole boutique bullet hype, it isn't worth jack.
>>29537965
Than RIP ammo? Yeah, it would be.
.45fmj actually isn't bad
Extra penetration
>>29537941
>>29538572
FMJ anything isn't particularly bad just because it's FMJ. Those super engineered self defense loads are a recent development.
>>29538520
.45 fmj is one thing.
Standard pressure 9mm ball sucks. And if I'm gonna bet my life on it, Id rather have at least brass cased with a sealed primer.
Here's a question for you guys
Do you alternate bullet types in your magazines like a belt fed weapon?
I've never tried it myself, but I was wondering if anyone had any odd habits.
>>29538799
Only with tracer rounds.
>>29538520
I had two malfunctions using that just yesterday actually.
>>29538520
That looks fucking cheap as fuck holy shit
>>29538520
Manufactured 30 miles south of me.
I'm not even sure who's baiting who anymore
>>29538799
I use a tipton on my last third bullet in the clip so I know I'm going to be reloading soon.
>>29537889
Feed-ramp lock-back considerations aside, I do it with my spare (and only a spare) because I don't use a mag carrier and so it ends up in my pocket instead. I don't want the lead on a hollowpoint to rub onto shit like my wallet, so I top off with an FMJ, usually 124 grain NATO spec shit
