Wendigo. Native American legend claims that those that consume too much human flesh become addicted to it. They become skinny and malnourished looking, though their skin hardens protecting them from most attacks and providing them with incredible speed and strength.
Their weakness is fire.

What's the best round for Skinwalker and Wendigo removal? Do they qualify as woodland creatures or supernatural creatures? I'll need to know that so I can determine whether to use a wooden or synthetic stock on my weapon.

I would recommend hunting with any small children you have avaliable as to teach them safety and marksmanship. Best time of day for them is 8PM to 4AM... oh and avoid bringing any lights. They only scare skinwalkers away.

There's no such thing as Skinwalkers. Camping alone and unarmed on Indian lands is a fun way to spend a weekend just don't talk to any medicine men, those people are crazy and not to be trusted.

You need to hunt in teams.
Main killer(s):
>.46/70 lever gun with deep hollowpoints, filled with white ash and birch, capped with silver shot and epoxy or silver-mercury amalgam.
>back up wepon could be a .45 colt, or .44 mag, with the same bullets
Support:
>smaller, faster shooting wepons
>somethimlng .30 cal, with bullets described as above (though silver shot wont fit in them), with detachable box, so an AR in .300 blk/.308 will do

>handgun, smaller caliber, higher cap. And similarly made bullets.
hunt with 3 suppport to every killer, and double that as much as you want (2 killers, 6 support, ect). The idea is to push the skinwalkers, or lure them, to the killers, the killer and one support will take up position, and the two other supports will try to push or lure the skinwalker. Keep in mind good comms, and keep the runs small, you dont want any one person being more then 50 yds from the others.
Do it at night, use human, goat, or cows blood. It is unclear if this works as bait, or just makes it harder for them to pick up on human scent.

The UP is weird. First time I was up there a bright, sunny fall afternoon felt shadowed and menacing. It was like something out of a Lovecraft story. Nothing scarier than that ended up happening on that trip, although I did go through three pairs of socks when I had to navigate half a mile of swamp in regular boots.
