I'm just buying the Aero Precision pre-built rifle without the stock or handguard, selling the trigger pack, BCG, and grip, and charging handle and just replacing them with Gucci parts (Geissele, Cryptic, BCM, etc).
Even if I didn't sell the various parts, it would be much cheaper than buying a pre-built of a similar configuration.
I don't need a fancy super match grade barrel or a Gucci reciever, I mostly care about the internals.

He's honest at least, he spent all that money because, "It's fun as fuck man" The problem is that I'm like his teacher basically since he's about as far from Combat Arms as you can get and I was a grunt for 8 years, yet he has to pay for everything when we go shoot because I can't even afford bullets for my pistol half the time. And when we do get to go inna woods I feel like a chump in my UCP LBV that I "aquired" while he's wearing all this legit gear. It does feel pretty good to have an outlet for all my knowledge as a civilian though, and he gets really into it and we have a lot of fun. I just wish I didn't have to wait another 3 years to even consider getting funs and tacticool shit, all I own now is what I stole from the military and my EDC pistol.
