Looking to get something to get me away from my AR fatigue, should I pull the trigger on a Wasr-10 or a 308 battle rifle while I have the cash?

308 battle rifle fulfills a distinctly different role, probably the better choice overall.
How much cash you got pham? There's a big dollar gap between most battle waffles and the WASR.

If it was going to be the battle rifle i was teetering between the DSA voyager FAL or the PTR91 with the picatinny rail and paddle mag release. So around 1000 bucks is what I have now until the next paycheck comes in.

The FAL has better ergonomics and the simplest field-strip of any semi rifle ever. The PTR will be a little more accurate, and the factory-mounted 1913 rail is the cheapest and most solid way to mount an optic on either rifle. Both are pretty rough on brass, and without a port buffer most of the PTR's cases won't be re-loadable.

I have three ARs, a dissipator and an M4gery I built, and a heavy barrel Stag I bought. I'm kind of bored with them, I was thinking about selling/trading the dissipator and the Stag toward a PTR. Should I? I have a Savage FCP-SR in .308, but I shoot BH Match through it, so I "sort of" have cartridge commonality.
Are there options to put accessories like lights/lasers on a steel frame gun w/o the rail? Got a Witness compact in 10mm so shopping for accessories.
