Here in Texas you can get federali/cartel spec aguila for really cheap and it shoots fine. I dont think Aguila has much distribution outside of the border states so you dont hear about it much. The powder smells kind of strong. All the cheaper federal ive shot has been super dirty compared to most everything else.

Magtech is the shittest of shit ammo. I bought their most expensive .38 defensive ammo and went to the range to test it out. No shit the second round I fired was a squib and thats impressive that it got stuck in a 2 in barrel. Going through customer service for that was a bitch and a half too.
Is speerman really that good? It's usually amongst the least expensive 9mm on sgammo, shot a case of it with no problems but didn't know it was highly regarded.

The only one that is specifically shit tier is perfecta. Their .380 consistently jams my ppk. WWB is fine, and as a reloader I love remington, the casings come out super clean on the inside.

I bought a box of federal champion from walmart about a year ago...one of the rounds said "speer" on it. I'd put federal champion down with perfecta.
I've always like blazer brass in 9mm. Speer lawman has become another one of my go-to's as well.

maybe 2 months ago. was firing a mix of white box with some blazer and had a misfire and was not able by the brass to determine which was the culprit. a friend who has over 40 years shooting experience said that he didn't think it was win/white box.
