anyone have any experience with the FNX 45 tactical?
I've been eyeing them for like 6 months and am about to pull the trigger, but is there anything i should know before i drop a grand?

Well you would know better as to whether its worth dropping it as far as your finances go. But what would you like to use it for? Home defense? CC? Open carry? Or just something to have and shoot at the range occasionally?

I have one. I really enjoy it as a range toy, I don't carry it. I've probably put about 200 rounds through mine, but in that small amount of time it preformed well.
Although I'd lean towards others as options. Not because there was anything wrong or discomforting about the FNX, but because it just didnt stand out to me whatsoever.

Red dots can really help dry fire practice. MUCH easier to see the dot move than iron sights move. Shows you what your doing wrong.
