So recently got this and a few jap medals was wondering what this is, and what it says if anyone could translate.

I'm a Japanese major.
It says, and I'm paraphrasing here, it's an idiom unique to Japan so I can't really translate it perfectly, "Glorious nippon steel folded over one thousand times, plane wings sharp like katana, filthy gaijin go home."
