What parts of a gun can I fabricate with:
- Lathe
- Emery
- Milling Machine
Almost all of them.

All of them?

He can't make springs, or rifle barrels, or a few other minor things.
>>29443364
Springs can be made on the lathe or mill as needed. Barrels can be made on any reasonably sized lathe.
>>29443364
he can make springs with the lathe

Now I understand why my father told me to refuse to work with certain pieces

Thanks guys, just another question. Theorically, could my wrist resist the recoil of a .22 bullet?
Im having some retarded ideas for concealed guns.
>>29443318
Bump for interest
>>29443574
assuming you mean .22lr yes, it has no recoil at all.
>>29443574
Are you that much of a bitch that you actually think any .22 could injure your wrist? How do you think .500 S&Ws are a thing?
>>29443385
You can't rifle a barrel on a lathe.
>>29443704
You could hand button rifle it though
>>29443704
You can on a mill, it's just really really hard.

pure precaution
Just found out about the Sedgley pistol so I guess its okay.

A rifling machine is a specialised lathe.
Anyone smarter than a rock should be able to figure out rifling with a lathe.

With a quality mill and lathe, you can make the world.
I swear to God if you think your dinky ass three jaw dicklet lathe is considered good though,
>>29443883
I'm at work so I can't watch those videos, what exactly makes it hard to rifle a barrel with a lathe? I'd imagine it'd be super easy.
>>29443704
Its basically a very low tpi multi-start thread. Providing you have tooling that is both sturdy and long enough, it shouldn't be a problem to rifle the barrel, though one made on a specialist machine will work much better.
>>29443318
>lathe
too fucking spooky
>>29443318
Lathes fucking terrify me.
>>29443318
all of them. including barrel. git to it, anon.

Chain- or circullar saws do not?
>>29443348
>All of them?
Pretty much, yes. Because a lot of machine work which requires specialized tools can be accomplished by making those tools with a lathe or mill.
>>29446309
>Lathes fucking terrify me.
Really the only dangerous part is the chuck key. That and long sleeves.
>>29447288
People make entire guns out of lathes and milling machines all the time.
It's not going to blue the parts or harden the barrel, but it'll get you there.

I remember a girl getting partially scalped by one in shop class about twenty years back because she didn't put her hair up. Thank god someone was quick on the emergency shut down.
>>29443318
All of them
>>29446292
How much does a rifling machine cost?
>>29447309
How partially?
>>29447309
Our shop class had dedicated emergency shutdown people. Sat and watched tool usage with their hand on the button
>>29446309
Vertical turret lathes are nasty bastards.
Can get pulled in and ripped in half by them.
>>29448707
A lot.
