they wouldve held out longer if they had better firepower. IE: a SAW, LAW/Gustov, M60E4. Wat. In my country you always bring at least one LMG. I don't remember how long their patrol was supposed to last but I wouldn't consider it a LRRP. I could understand that they didn't bring an LMG because of them being complacent.

Most front line infantry units carry only enough rounds for 15-20 minutes of sustained fire at normal rates. You'll run out of ammo eventually, having a gun over a rifle doesn't make you any less behind enemy lines either.

If I remember he is naturally left handed. Watch shooter and at some point he gets injured and switches hands. Apparently he did a fair amount of training for shooter and was a decent shot by the end.
A while ago a kind anon pointed out all the things wrong with the operation, from first aid kits, comms, planning and infiltration. Coupled with the fact the marines had been doing the same thing fine for months.
