what is it /k/? What would you want to carry in an all out shtf situation? personally I would choose a taurus pt99. Very accurate, hi capacity. Over the m9 because no kekslidesafety and adjustable sights.

>>29420938

gee bill, your mom lets you have two eyepro (and no NVG mount)?

Subtle/10, would troll again.

always oakley goggles....
>>
Glock 19.

Same capacity as the older metal frame wundernines.

Small enough to CC, shoots like a fullsize.

Most common pistol in america making spare parts readily available and uses the same mags as the number one AND two selling pistols.

Also 33 extendos.

Shoots the most common service pistol cartridge in the world.
>>
>>29420962
The only acceptable Taurus imo. they are quite nice. Ever fire one?

The HighPoint

>cheep
>reliable
>easy to maintain
>easy to work on
>needs little maintenance
>very accurate
>doesn't draw attention
>beats glocks in torture tests
>customization
>great stock sights.

These guns get a bad rap but I wouldn't trust my life to any other pistol.
>>
>>29421112
Oh yea I forgot
>simple to work on
>parts highly available

>>29420951

sig p226 or glock 19
>>
>>29421133
The HiPoint also fits beautifully in your hand giving you a great grip and control of the gun thus making you more accurate and they use a hardened and thicker metal in the barrel that prolongs the life and accuracy of the gun compared to most others.

These guns are truly the black sheep workhorse of the modern side arm industry virtually outperforming all competitors in almost every category but are looked down apon because of the way they "look". If my life depended on it if use no other sidearm.

so I was watching the buds training documentary and Navy seals are allowed to choose whatever side arm they want to take into battle on certain missions and I guess a lot of them actually choose from the HighPoint family because of the durability in harsh conditions.
>>
>>29421046
This
For some reason the USP doesn't get mentioned as often as it should, considering there have been USP45s which run for tens of thousands of rounds without cleaning

Also, I would put the Glock 19 as an equal candidate to the Glock 17, on the basis that they both have such a proven track record that it comes down to individual preferences

I own a high point and my buddy naught a 1911 which has already given him milultiple problems. My 10mm Hipoint has yet to have one malfunction.

Confirmed true as my buddies dad used to be a navy seal but was honorably discharged after he got into an accident. To this day he carries a HiPoint chambered in 9mm. It's ugly but he says "looks don't kill, bullets do"

well this thread sucked ass.

You're supposed to shoot the circles closer together, not further apart...

https://hr.wikipedia.org/wiki/HS2000 aka. Springfield XD .45 (renamed for amerifats who think they are middle of universe when we talk about good small arms)

Not because we invented it(Croatia), but because we were in fucked up war when we made this gun so every piece is no nonsense(at least vanilla, ugly shit you amerifats do from guns is atrocious).

It was a gun that didnt cater to gun owners or to look cool, it was made as a serious tool for serious situations.

180 mm
693 g (bez spremnika)
30 mm
143 mm

• 9×19mm Parabellum
• .45 ACP
• .40 S&W
• .357 SIG
• .45 GAP
102 mm

Just to clear things up:

Hi points are not terrible, but don't kid yourself. Every time you take apart the gun, you shave a little from the slide retainer pin hole. Parts are not stocked anywhere, since you send the gun back for free service. There are no aftermarket accessories.

They are very reliable, and fairly accurate.

>>29421038
Nobody considers that because the military doesnt buy mags from brownells. Commonality means fuck all outside of NATO. Look what happened when they cheaper out on M9 mags
>>
The FNX 45 Tac is the greatest combat/multi-role sidearm ever made.
>>
as much as I like the USP I think the glock is a cheaper better alternative

Ya no don't act like these have some special hue hue hue Brazilians look them over before shipping.
Not him, but I owned one. Stripped grip screws from the factory, found out trying to change the grips, broke the rear sight when the slide recoiled into a plywood barrier I was shooting out of, and one of two magazines was faulty because it couldn't feed consistently. Also, guess what rear sights don't fit the pt92 dovetail without some work.
Mechanically they're fine, but they still stink of Taurus and poor people.

There's no official word. And you're pretty much a fucking retard if you actually thought seals used nothing but 226's. Every sof including the seals have been using glocks for years.

tell me you didn't buy a glock 19 because of this. You probably did

NSW has most definitely transitioned to the Glock. Just like everyone else.
