I have no idea, they cost the same as real police and most PCSO's only do the job to get the experience needed to become a real officer, its funny because they get abuse daily and the only thing they can do about it is call the real police to come and deal with the trouble makers. They are pretty much paid community watch in uniform, they should be scrapped and the money saved spent on hiring and training real officers.

In the UK we can't afford to pay lots of full time police anymore because all the money has to go on welfare and public health otherwise there's a HUGE shitstorm and papers start printing "THE GOV'T DESTROYING NHS". At which point the world literally stops.
