I have the opportunity to get practically any SIG gun for half off, and a 600 dollar gun for 300 sounds like a good deal. I'm just looking for a decent gun for some target shooting and light pest control. The M400's look great but would be 600-700 dollars and have more expensive ammo for what I need it for.

I've only heard positive reports about the 522. I've been looking in to them because it will probably be my next .22 purchase.
Supposed to be reliable feeders and cycle a wide variety of ammo, whilst being accurate. Which can't be said for all .22lr tactical look-a-likes. For 300 you'd be dumb not to though, you could always sell on and make your money back even if you put a few thousand through it to see whether you liked it or not.

If you want a sig in 22 go for it, a buddy owns it and it handles pretty well, is reliable, and pretty nice, but Sig has other guns that you could get a bigger discount on, and 22 semiautomatic rifles don't cost that much.
