If the gun was shipped during the first assault weapon ban, you have to make it 922R compliant in order to put a pistol grip stock, etc. This gun was "invented" during the assault weapon ban. They ship with a thumb hole stock, and a 5 rd magazine. Correct me if im wrong.

Its not enforced because it is LITERALLY unenforceable.
If it went to court it would be intothetrash because trade regulations never apply to the end user or individual, always the importer.
ATF likes to enforce things that would be immediately thrown away in court if you were caught.

it always seemed to me like getting charged with a 922r violation as an individual is something that would be added on to more serious crimes.
