This was my first time EVER shooting an AR-15 at 101 yards. I finished off some loose rounds, so you'll count a bit more than 30 holes.
No, I didn't move the target up to hit the "X"

Have fun with it OP. Assuming you were blasting away instead of pushing groups, dont worry about it. If you were really wirking on groups, you have your work cut out for ya but dont stress it.
Took my Tikka t3 lite out for some load development at 100. Had 3 shot groups down as low as .3", 5 shots measured closer to .7", and my 10 shot groups averaged 1.1" with horizontal stringing from a warming barrel.
Shot nearly 100 rounds all in all, fireforming brass for my selected load.
Now im gonna crank it out and have a decently long ranged hunting rifle with a known good load and plenty to practice with. I want to get her mapped out to 800 yards, though I wont personally try to take game at that range.
