The .308 rifles aren't as "good" but they are going for more than $400 these days.
He did good either way. Cheapest one I've seen is one at a gun store for $518.99 and he's had it a year or so. I'd probably pay $450 OTD for it to be honest, but it's a little nicer than OP's and comes with two magazines and 60 rounds of ammo and is in Frog caliber.

Who the actual fuck shoots like that? You have a higher profile than if you were prone and the stress in your core area would render shooting meaningless beyond 50 yards due to shakes, unless you have a back rest.
